History of the company

For over 30 years Cryophysics GmbH is a leading independent sales and service organization for scientific equipment and systems for material research, focused specifically on low temperature physics and the magnetic and electric characterization of materials.


Stability and Innovation

Our customers benefit from our long-standing cooperation with technologically worldwide leading American, Japanese and British suppliers.

Already since the early 70th Cryophysics is e. g. the representative of the company LAKE SHORE, USA in Germany and Austria and also the responsible service organization for the helium liquefaction plants of the companies CTI / Koch / KCI / PSI - nowadays CPS for all of Europe and the Near East.


Customer Support and Service

For us customer support means competent advice, availability, fast and competent service and product support--even long time after the purchase.

Our service department (with attached stock) in Darmstadt is maintaining and repairing helium liquefiers (CPS) as well as refrigerator systems (CTI/HELIX and SUMITOMO).

Firmware Upgrades and minor repairs on instruments of our supplier LAKE SHORE, USA and on cryostat systems of our supplier JANIS RESEARCH, USA can also be performed locally. Our close and good cooperation with our suppliers guarantee a fast reaction, even in difficult cases.
